Plant Olympics on Marsh Meadows

The weather is looking good for tomorrow (Wednesday 29 May) so why not join Plant Olympics organised by the River & Rowing Museum on Marsh Meadows from 10.30-11.30am.

You’re the judge! Explore the plants and trees of Marsh Meadows and decide which have got what it takes in the plant Olympics. Can you find the plant with the pointiest leaves? The smallest petals? Who will win in the heats? You decide, then make a recycled plant pot and grow your own future champion.

Most suitable for age 5+ (babes in arms are welcome to join but terrain may not be suitable for pushchairs). Please wear appropriate waterproof clothing and footwear e.g. wellies and bring suncream and a hat.

The cost is £7.50 and you can book online Family Fun: May Half Term – River & Rowing Museum (rrm.co.uk) or pay on arrival at the Museum tomorrow.
