Santa is On His Way
Santa will be spreading his joy around Henley and Shiplake starting on Monday 6 December.
Due to Covid restrictions the Elves will not be knocking on doors this year so listen out for the Christmas music. But Santa has entered the digital age and you can track his journey on Henley Lions Facebook page and other local Facebook pages.
Santa will start his routes around 6pm, which are planned as follows:
Monday 6 December
Up St Marks Road, Gainsborough estate, Greenlane and down St Andrews Road
Tuesday 7 December
Shiplake area
Wednesday 8 December
Wilson Avenue, Watermans area, Reading Road to Marmion and Park Roads and over to Harpsden Road.
Thursday 9 December
Greys Road to The Close, Greys Hill, Deanfield Avenue, Milton Close, Ancastle Green
Sunday 12 December
Blandy and Makins Roads, King James Way and roads off, Top of St Andrews Road to Coldharbour Close
Monday 13 December
Kings Road, York and Clarence Roads, Mount View, Crisp and Clements Roads, Luker Avenue and roads off.
Tuesday 14 December
Peppard Lane to Western Road including Cromwell, Belle Vue, Berkshire and Manor Roads
Wednesday 15 December
Elizabeth and Nicholas Roads, Valley Road and roads off and Deanfield Road
Thursday 16 December
Damer Gardens, Hamilton Avenue, Upton Close. Queen Street, Friday Street, to Town Centre including Gravel Hill, West Street, Northfield End and New Street.
