ManningUK Continues to Sponsor Woodley Festival of Music & Arts

ManningUK, insurance broker on Reading Road is proudly supporting the Woodley Festival of Music and Arts again for the 17th year in succession.

Managing Director, Ann Manning said, “Woodley Festival is special to us and is unique. The quality and standard is very high and it is a pleasure to hear and see such amazing talent in an atmosphere which is very friendly yet competitive. Our President, in her opening speech, re-minds us all that “Festivals are Fun” and Woodley Festival is a shining example.”

“We are delighted to be again sponsoring the event as it gives children and young people in the local community the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and be given friendly and constructive feedback by a professional adjudicator. Whilst competitive in nature, the Festival creates a warm and friendly environment, ensuring the wellbeing and enjoyment of the performers is an absolute priority.

The Festival is split into 5 sections, Choral, Instrumental, Vocal, Piano and Speech and Drama.

ManningUK supports the festival, which runs on 3 weekends starting last weekend through to 20 March, both financially and in a community spirit. Ann added, “Our sponsorship has ensured the Festival continues to grow in many ways including the venues we hire, the equipment we use and more importantly the support the team shows in not only attending the event but lending a hand where ever it is needed.”

The majority of the Festival takes place in The Oakwood Center, Woodley but some events will be hosted in The Emmbrook Secondary School and The Bulmershe School
