Car Club Special Introductory Offer Ends on 30 April
The Henley Car Club launched last April now has over 60 members who have joined up with the introductory offer enjoying savings on repairs, insurance, road tax etc.
The introductory offer of joining for £1 with a £25 credit ends on 30 April 2022.
Two Toyota Yaris hybrids are available now in Car Club bays located at the back of the Town Hall and on the Reading Road outside Gibbs and Dandy. The next car will be electric and should be available later in the year.
Car Club’s are good for the environment too. Research shows that each car club car eventually replaces 18 individually owned cars. A massive saving in carbon emissions.
Dave McEwen of Greener Henley who helps with Car Club promotion locally, said “It has been an excellent start with a lot of interest shown in the town. We are now looking to add a third car later this year and this will be electric. Watch this space!”
The costs are £5.75 per hour, £46.00 per day plus 20p per mile.
