Care Home Makes Super Hero Donation to Headway

Henley Manor Care Home recently presented Headway Thames Valley, who support people with brain injury from their base at Brunner Hall on Greys Road with a £500 donation from their Super Hero Day that they held at the home.

Headway is a local and independent charity that promotes wider understanding of all aspects of brain injury. They provide information, support and services to people with an acquired brain injury, their families and carers in the Thames Valley region.

Ellie Faramarzian, General Manager at Henley Manor Care Home said, “It was our pleasure to be able to make the donation to Headway as part of our Super Hero Day that was being held at the home. The team at Headway are true heroes and deserve every penny of the donation. Zoe was kind enough to visit and tell us how the funds will be used, which the team and residents loved hearing about. We’re so thankful that we can make a difference and support such a fantastic cause.”

Zoe Lane from Headway said, “On behalf of everyone at Headway Thames Valley we would like to thank all at Henley Manor Care Home for their fantastic donation of £500. We are so grateful for their ongoing support and the donation will go towards funding  services helping people to adapt to life after a brain injury.”
