Henley Parkrun to Celebrate 200th Event with Spooky Fancy Dress Race

Henley Parkrun is celebrating its 200th event this Saturday (29 October) with a spooktacular Halloween-themed race.

Participants and volunteers are encouraged to don some spooky fancy dress for the occasion, although all are welcome whether costumed or not!

Parkrun is open to runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities and ages – the current age range stretches from 8 to 80. Parkrun is completely free to enter — a bonus in these challenging economic times that.

Henley Parkrun starts at 9am every Saturday morning at the Henley College playing fields at the far end of Tilebarn Close. There is a first-timer’s briefing at 8.50am.

If you have never taken part in a Parkrun before, to get going all you need to do is register beforehand at Parkrun.com, print out your athlete barcode, and then just turn up at 9am on Saturday 29th October (or any other Saturday at the same time) dressed ready to run/jog/walk around our beautiful (if sometimes rather muddy!) 5k Parkrun course.
