Artistry Gallery’s New Seascape Artist Clare

This month Artistry Gallery on the Reading Road in Henley, would like to introduce another of our new artists by the name of Claire Howlett.

Clare’s atmospheric seascapes with moody skies and her wonderful soft but strong pallets are evocative of so many of our English days. Who hasn’t stood on a beach in the UK, and being almost blown away by the wind and beaten by torrential rain… although a lot of us dream of clear skies and summer sun, there is also something very emotive about the force of our weather, which can make us feel very invigorated.

Owner Sarah Pye said, “Keep an eye on our window over the next couple of weeks for yet another new artist who will be joining us in the next month. We’re very excited to have the opportunity to exhibit these artists’ work. They all live not far from Henley and are passionate about their work.”
