Mayor Pops in for Cuppa to Support Henley Volunteer Drivers

Henley Volunteer Drivers held their annual coffee morning in the King’s Arms Barns on Wednesday with new Mayor, Councillor Sarah Miller attending.

This was an opportunity for drivers and the office staff to meet and put faces to names.  This voluntary service, which takes patients to medical appointments both within Henley and further afield, is lifeline for those who are infirm and needing help and certainty on these journeys.

It is of course always on the look-out for new volunteer drivers.  So if you are willing to undertake this very worthwhile service – do please contact Jane Case on 07759 213413.  There is a small reimbursement to cover petrol costs but the main reason is the security of being there to collect, deliver and return people home safely!
