Sweet & Phone Shop Opens in M&Co Old Store

The M&Co shop closed in July after the company went into administration.
Owner Khadim Hussain from Slough has opened the shop which sells limited edition sweets, crisps and as well as energy drinks and a selection of phone cases, second-hand mobile phones and accessories.  The shop also carries out phone repairs and can unlock phones.
Renovation work on the new menswear shop Brook Taverner in the former Paperchase shop and the new Un Dimanche à Paris clothing and homeware shop in the former Sage & Squash on Bell Street is in full swing with them both planning to open in September.

Can only be a money laundering operation. A 5 year lease on a building of that scale to sell cheapo items like this? The numbers just don’t stack up. And that’s aside from it being a total eyesore for the town.

  2. James says:

Very disappointing news. Not a good look for the town and very suspicious for money laundering unfortunately especially given there is a sweet shop and a mobile phone shop and within 50m of it.
