New Sports Activities at Henley YMCA

Henley YMCA have recently launched some new sports activities for the community including mental health wellbeing and youth disability football and Pickleball (a tennis like sport).

Mental health wellbeing football is on Tuesdays between 2.00-3.00pm, youth disability football (8-11 year-olds) on Wednesdays between 5.00-6.00pm and Pickleball on Thursdays between 1.00-2.00pm at the Henley YMCA on Lawson Road.  The football sessions are £3 per session and Pickleball £5.

Phil Cundy, Sport and Community Development Officer at Henley YMCA said, We are dedicated in actively delivering more sports and activity provisions for the Henley-On-Thames community and surrounding areas, especially those community groups that are under-represented and would benefit from our sessions more. The vision is to provide a variety of sustainable sports and social activity sessions for years to come, keeping as many community groups as possible in the community healthy, active and socialising.”

If you are interested in trying out any of these sports, please call 01491 411849 or just turn up on the day.
