Break in at The Relais

Early this morning at around 6am police were called to the The Relais hotel on Hart Street after the front door window was smashed.

The Relais General Manager, Craig Sands said, “We are shocked the hotel has been targeted and our first priority was the safety of our guests.  We worked with the police to track down the suspect.  I’m pleased to say that the hotel will be open as usual today to welcome Bank Holiday guests and visitors.”

Guest, Mrs Ola Liprof exclaimed, “I came out of my room and was a little scared to find the police at the hotel.  They have reassured me that everything is OK now and I can go down and have breakfast.”

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said, “This was unusual break-in and we’re glad to have caught the criminal in room 109.”
