Mill Meadows Playgrounds to Close for Refurbishment

Henley Town Council will be closing the Adventure Playground from Monday 15 April when work on a new park will commence which will open in June.
The new park will include a large adventure fort as the park’s centrepiece which has a slide, rope tunnel bridge, monkey bars, climbing wall, rope climber and tube slide.  Other new pieces of equipment include swings, a titan carousel, a spider web and a zip wire to replace the old one.  There are also other additions include a hammock, quiet corner, buggy parking and nature area.
The park is costing £250K and the Town Council have a received a grant from SODC of £65K towards the cost.
Access to the slipway to the back of the park which will also be closed during the works.
The Toddler Playground will also be closed from Monday 15 April for a few days to do resurfacing work. Planning to reopen on 19th April.
Henley Adventure Golf will remain open for this period.
