This exhibition is showcasing original prints by the Print at the Park group of artists at the Old Fire Station Gallery until 16 November. The Group is joined this year by local ceramicist, Jenny Zolkwer whose very individual pieces are a perfect complement to the prints shown in the gallery.
The Printmakers are based at South Hill Park in Bracknell, have been working and exhibiting together for about twelve years during which time they have been honing their skills over many different genres of printmaking. Many different printmaking processes are being displayed including lino cuts, etchings, collagraphs, mono prints, solar print and combinations of all of these!
All the members of the group started their printmaking journey at South Hill Park Arts Centre using the lovely printing presses and facilities in the print room there.
Over the many years since, the inception of the group, ‘Print at the Park’ has exhibited widely in the local area. Exhibiting in Windsor, Guildford, Thatcham, The Royal Berkshire and Surrey Hospitals and of course at South Hill Park.
It is unanimously agreed, among the members, that their favourite exhibition space is The Old Fire Station at Henley which they are now visiting for the fourth time.
The exhibition is open 10-4.30pm daily.
