Badgemore Park Hosts Catriona Matthew OBE for Charity Golf Day

Badgemore Park are pleased to announce that on Thursday 1 June they are hosting a spectacular golf day that features a golf clinic and ”An audience with” Solheim Cup Captain and winner, Catriona Matthew OBE  in support of Nomad & Action for M.E.

The day includes tea/coffee and warm breakfast rolls on arrival at 9.30am, an 18-hole team golf competition with prizes and 2-course dinner PLUS a golf clinic and live audience with Catriona hosted by Sky Sports broadcaster Henni Koyack.

Catriona qualified for the LPGA Tour by tying for fifth at the 1994 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 1995 season.  Afterwards she soon established herself on the Tour, and her best seasons were 2001 and 2005, when she finished tenth on the money list. In July 2016, Matthew was named as a vice-captain for the 2017 Solheim Cup but ended up playing in the match after an injury to Suzann Pettersen. She was announced as captain the following year and has led the European team to victory in 2019 at Gleneagles and 2021 at the Inverness Club in Ohio.

Catriona will be showcasing her incredible talent and sharing expert tips with both a short and long game clinic. After dinner, Henni will be hosting “An audience with Catriona” where you can hear about her career, balancing golf and her family and of course hearing about her great success in the Solheim Cup both as a player and Captain.

Non members can attend the full day for a cost of £120 or a group of four for £400 or the audience with dinner for £55.

There are limited places available. Download the entry form here
