Henley Leisure Centre over the last couple of months has had some refurbishment and upgrading of equipment in the gym and steam and sauna rooms. In the last year South Oxfordshire District Council have funded the upgrades of £100k for the leisure centre which is run by Better
In the gym all the equipment has been refreshed and upgraded with the latest technology and the flooring has been replaced with rubber flooring in the weights area, laminate flooring replacing the old carpet tiles and artificial grass for the functional kit area. The gym walls have also been brightened with colourful graphics to give it a more modern feel.
The steam and sauna rooms have been completely refurbished with new benches and lighting.

Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that caters to the needs of all residents. We have invested in new equipment, updating our facilities, and expanding our programs to offer something for everyone. Our hope is that these changes will encourage more people to get involved in physical activities, meet new friends, and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
