Invitation to River Monitoring Celebration Event

Thames21 and Drinkable Rivers are hosting a free event at the River & Rowing Museum on Saturday (30 September) to celebrate the work of Thames21’s dedicated teams of citizen scientists and their bathing water quality sampling from 1.oo-3.45pm.

Attendees will be able to watch the screening of Drinkable Rivers’ film ‘Long Walk for Drinkable Rivers’ and learn about the history of the River & Rowing Museum’s relationship to the river.  Afterwards there will be a Question and Answer session and discussion with a panel which will include River Action UK and Henley Mermaids and an opportunity to see river water monitoring in action.
