Lionesses Take Time Out to Spend Time With Kit Sponsor’s Residents

After their football match on Saturday morning, The U13 Henley Lionesses team went to send some time with residents at Henley Manor Care Home who are their new away kit sponsors.

The girls spent the afternoon assisting the residents with Bingo, putting on a little dance show for them and just generally sitting down and having conversations with each other.

Coach, Nick Hunt said, “The girls, parents and I felt it was important to meet and greet the people who make these things, such as new kit, happen for us!  It was so heart-warming to witness.  The girls were amazing with the residents and the residents were just as incredible with the girls!  We have invited the residents down to be match mascots next week as our U13s host Newport Pagnell in the County Cup at Henley Town FC.  It’s a 9.30am kick off for anyone wanting to come and show their support too!”
