Another Accident at New Street Causes Damage

A vehicle has knocked three further bollards near the New Street slipway overnight on Tuesday (30 May).

This is the second accident at this junction in 4 months.  In February a car crashed into the heritage information sign, electricity box and knocked down a different bollard.  The driver was identified on this occasion and costs recovered.  A new heritage information sign is being redesigned and made and will be installed soon.

Henley Town Council Park Services will be reinstalling the bollards themselves to protect the area and will be checking the security CCTV footage to see how this has happened.
