The Henley Larder Presents Henley on Toast Café

The Henley Larder is popping up as a linked café in it’s neighbouring shop of 62A Bell Street from Thursday 22 June.

After nearly three years on the Henley high street the Larder has become known for celebrating and showcasing local and small produced food and drink as well as being the go to place for picnics and gifts.

Owner Zoë Ferreira is proud to pop up in style with Henley on Toast, a café space where people can sit and enjoy the treats from The Henley Larder in a friendly, calming space open to all including dogs – of course!

Zoë said, ““Opening The Henley Larder was always a dream of mine and I am grateful for the reception I have received here in my home town. My background in hospitality and pop up restaurants has meant ambition has always been bubbling away waiting for the right opportunity to take this next step. So the idea of popping up in the beautiful space next door seems like the stars have aligned to give it a go. Plenty of people have asked if we have a seating area to enjoy our scrummy food and coffee and now we can answer yes! As far as the aesthetic much like the Larder. I decided to embrace my love for recycling and upcycling furniture so everything you see will be pre-loved and now loved once more.”

“Our ethos of supporting local and small producers will remain at the heart of the business and beyond that I want this to be a real neighbourhood café celebrating Henley and it’s residents compete with book swap library and community noticeboard. We will also be hosting a series of foodie and non foodie events over the coming months so watch out for those – some local legends are already on board.”

“I cannot wait to open the doors and welcome you to Henley on Toast Café and before you ask yes, there will be toast on offer and crumpets, but more on that later.”
